A continuation of an earlier story, this work features a spirit medium who lacks strong abilities. His family's medium house has a long history, but he can only summon animal spirits and cannot hear them, only sense their presence. To compensate, he relies on a feline companion who is only half a cat, as he retains memories from a past life as a dog. The two work together to assist the animals they meet, helping them gain understanding by uncovering their histories.
