Mikoto, an ambulanceman, possesses the unique ability to witness the final moments of anyone he touches. Using this power, he learns that his step-sister Sara, who he also loves romantically, will die within a year. Despite knowing the outcome, he is powerless to change it and can only observe as her fate approaches.
