5-nin no Ou

A nation is governed by five rulers believed to be born from divine blood. A young orphan named Sage, who has a younger sister possessing godlike abilities, risks his life to shield her from the harsh and arrogant ruler known as the Blue King. During this time, he unexpectedly meets the Red King, Gules, who is compassionate and understanding, causing Sage to develop emotions. Despite this, Sage remains under the control of the Blue King, who takes offense at the situation.
