Akatsuki Jihen

A prominent shaman family, the Sukaku, are tasked with safeguarding humanity from divine beasts. Mutsuki, the elder sibling, demonstrates exceptional skill in spiritual magic and is viewed as a promising future leader. His sister Uzuki, however, possesses no such abilities. By family law, those without shamanic power are excluded from Sukaku lineage, resulting in Uzuki being confined within their home. Mutsuki desires her freedom, but recognizing the impossibility of escape, he concludes that resistance is necessary—even against his own family. To secure Uzuki's future, he initiates a radical challenge to the traditions of his household.
