Count Saazbaum, a Martian, launches an attack on Earth driven by a desire for revenge. The conflict between the Terrans and Martians concludes with a Terran victory. Yet, nineteen months later, hostilities persist as Martians continue their invasions and Terrans remain committed to defending their planet.
