Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Akihisa Yoshii, known as "baka," attends a school that categorizes students into classes based on test scores. The top students are in A class, enjoying comfortable, air-conditioned seating, while Akihisa is placed in F class, the lowest level with basic and worn-out furnishings. Mizuki Himeji, one of the brightest students in their year, was assigned to F class after performing poorly due to a fever on the test day. She joins Akihisa and Yuuji Sakamoto, the class president and Akihisa's longtime friend. The school has developed methods to summon fantasy creatures, and Akihisa leads F class in using these summons to challenge the higher classes and claim their privileges in a battle for dominance.
