Canaan

A Japanese photographer working in Shanghai partners with her companion to uncover newsworthy stories. During a local festival, unusual events draw them into a conflict involving masked men and a mysterious woman with white hair. As the photographer faces danger, an old acquaintance named Canaan rescues her. A larger scheme involving a lethal virus emerges, forcing Canaan to address her past in order to stop the responsible party and protect those she cares about.
