Captain Earth

A high school sophomore named Daichi Manatsu witnesses a strange circular rainbow in the sky over Tanegashima before summer vacation and travels there alone. He has seen this phenomenon before, linked to memories of his father's unexplained death and a meeting with an enigmatic boy and girl. Upon arriving on the island, he hears an alarm from a structure called "Earth Engine." A question about whether he is a captain is asked just as mechanical invaders from Uranus, known as "Kiltgang," appear. A conflict involving the stars is about to unfold.
