CLANNAD

Tomoya Okazaki is a high school senior in a small Japanese city, disinterested in school and unimpressed by his surroundings. He often arrives late and is viewed as a troublemaker by peers focused on their college exams. Lacking close friendships, he longs for something to make his monotonous life more meaningful. One morning, he notices a quiet, delicate girl walking nearby who suddenly says "anpan," drawing his attention. They exchange a few words before continuing to school separately.
