A witch named Miki Makimura attempts a ritual with her friend Akira Fudo, but it is disrupted, leaving Akira near death. His body is then taken over by a being called Amon. Struggling with the conflict between his human side and the demonic presence, Akira engages in the battle between demons and humans over the fate of the world. Demons are seizing control of human bodies, and only the strongest are able to endure. The story includes chapter 0 Persona and chapter 8.5 Wake Up Your Heart.
