A young college student named Kei, who has only eaten sweet bread since childhood and follows a vegetarian diet, becomes aware of Touko, a classmate who engages in self-harm. He feels an unusual reaction upon seeing her blood. Touko demonstrates her self-harming behavior to Kei, hoping he will understand why he keeps thinking about it. The story includes an additional chapter beyond the main narrative.
