In the year 2072, terrifying creatures called Aragami emerge and begin attacking humans, causing the population to drop to just one percent of its former size. A specialized group known as God Eaters fights back using powerful weapons called Jinki. The narrative centers on Silva, a member of this group, as he seeks to restore hope for the survival of humanity.
