Hase runs into Mitsuki at work, someone he had feelings for during high school. At the time, he found her serious and difficult to connect with, but her smile left a strong impression on him. After unintentionally causing her pain, Hase questioned whether he could continue harboring such feelings. This is an alternate take on the story of first love, presented from Hase’s point of view.
