Gringo 2061

Raiji had a bad day on July 28, 2061, when he was wrongly accused of indecent exposure on a public vehicle. Later that night, he and his friends Yuma and Osamu observed Halley's Comet, which arrived earlier than expected. A bright flash occurred, and everyone around them disappeared. The area was then overrun by enormous mushrooms and grotesque human faces. The trio must now survive in this strange and dangerous new environment filled with both human and non-human threats.
