Dan-Jo is a university freshman with a routine-filled life. During orientation, she runs an errand for a senior and ends up at a warehouse where she sees a broom turn into a person. After that, the Broom Ghost repeatedly seeks Dan-Jo's help, claiming to have no place to go. Dan-Jo eventually names the Broom Ghost "Eundohae," and the two begin living together in a small gosiwon. In exchange, the Broom Ghost vows to bring Dan-Jo happiness.
