Hakoniwa

Takato's younger sister Utako has been confined indoors for much of her life due to poor health, never allowed to go outside. Despite this, she remains cheerful and loving, and Takato is content with their home life. Upon returning to his village after attending a new boarding school, Takato begins to notice strange changes in Utako and in two of his childhood friends, who appear to be hiding something. These developments seem connected to a well-known and unsettling local folk tale.
