A cursed existence was lived by Pandora's Box, from which evil nearly consumed the world due to a woman's curiosity. Humanity barely managed to reseal Maou Kestra within it, though at great cost. Despite the absence of their leader, the demons remain a powerful force, growing stronger over time and confined to the northern ruined city of Hameln. Fifteen years have passed since the battle. Hamel, a self-centered traveling minstrel, is more concerned with his own needs than anything else, even considering cooking his crow companion and relative, Oboe, if hungry.
