A teenage girl entering high school is passionate about katanas. As a child, she discovered one in her grandparents’ home, and they promised it would be hers when she became an adult. Now 15, she is too young in their eyes to claim it. She finds a new focus through her school’s nearly abandoned Iaido club. As she attempts to recruit members and overcome her fear of boys, she begins to realize her connection to Japanese swords may stem from a deeper origin than she initially thought.
