Hataraki Man

Matsukata Hiroko is a 28-year-old editor for the weekly magazine JIDAI. She frequently clashes with Tanaka Kunio, a new editor who doesn't take responsibility for his errors. Hiroko is known for her intense dedication to work, which causes her significant stress. She is described as masculine due to her serious attitude and lifestyle, which includes heavy smoking, long work hours, and no sexual activity. When deadlines approach, she enters a hyper-focused state called "Working Man" mode, during which her productivity triples, her blood testosterone rises, and all other concerns fade away. The manga, which consists of one-shot stories about working life, has been on hiatus since 2009.
