Hi no Tsugai

In the late Heian period, Ruri, a princess, resides with her father and brother until their lives are disrupted by the Heike clan. After fleeing a burning estate with her servant Sanmori, she encounters a man with red eyes. They form an agreement, the outcome of which remains uncertain.
