Higan Sugimade

A series of brief narratives explores various themes. In one, Hatsune, a male prostitute sold by his brother, becomes a model for an artist while still longing for his brother, who now works as his bodyguard. Another follows a boy exhibiting signs of a man-eating disorder. A third centers on two boys in a relationship, both secretly dating the same teacher, who becomes distressed over a missing ring. A final story, presented as a self-published work, tells of a flower that grows by absorbing memories, suggesting that some cherished feelings remain even when memories fade.
