A demon named Salamander is assigned a mission by a council to stop the Dark Lord, who is using charm magic to gather a harem, affecting nearly every woman. The council believes only a hero marked with a star-shaped holy symbol can defeat him, so Salamander is tasked with finding and protecting this individual. He discovers the hero is a high school girl named Aoki Tsubasa, who knocks him out upon meeting. The council, pleased that the hero is female and noting Salamander’s good looks, shifts their plan. They decide the girl must fall in love with him, and Salamander cannot return until this happens, trapping him in a love-focused scheme.
