A boy with striking good looks appears before Saga Honoka, a high school girl known for being frugal. He repeatedly attempts to convince her that he is a magician from a hidden group called "Rosen Kreuz." However, the realistic Honoka refuses to believe his claims. The story unfolds as an odd pairing of a magician with a questionable attitude and a high school girl with little money.
