Sang-Uk's father uses his entire severance pay to open a chicken restaurant, but shortly after it opens, he suffers an accident, leaving Sang-Uk, a college student, to manage the business. Sang-Uk attempts to cook chicken for the first time, but the result is unappetizing. Struggling to keep the restaurant afloat, he seeks assistance from Hye-Ri, his biggest rival, in hopes of discovering the perfect fried chicken recipe.
