In 1212, during the Crusades in Northern France, a 12-year-old shepherd named Etienne claims to be divinely chosen to recover Jerusalem. His assertion, supported by a red horn and a Latin letter, leads to the formation of a group of 12 boys on a crusade. The movement grows, drawing in a mysterious boy named Michael, many young followers sent by their families, and the support of a knight named Hugo from the Knights Templar. As the journey progresses, the group encounters unforeseen and severe challenges.
