Maki had a romantic relationship with her high school classmate Midori, but they ended it at graduation, with Midori claiming they were too old for such relationships. A decade later, Maki still thinks about Midori and reunites with her unexpectedly. Maki discovers that Midori has moved on and is now engaged. As Midori discusses her future husband, Maki begins to notice troubling aspects about the relationship. Midori also holds a secret she has not yet revealed to Maki.
