KAPPEI

A martial artist named Kappei resides on a remote, isolated island where he and other young men trained intensely under their Master, preparing for an apocalypse foreseen by Nostradamus for July 1999 — an event that did not occur. The Master eventually abandoned the effort in 2011, closing the martial arts camp and sending the trainees back to contemporary Japan. Unfamiliar with modern society, Kappei arrives in Tokyo and begins a new life, now existing as a hero without any enemies.
