Kiokuya

A student named Ryôichi studies urban legends and how they spread. Around him, people begin to lose their memories in unusual ways. He learns about a creature called the Kiokuya, said to consume memories. Questions arise: is the Kiokuya real? What is its true purpose? Why does it erase the memories of those who encounter it?
