A Japanese journalist, assigned to report on a gold rush in Brazil, faces immediate danger when a crew member is attacked and she is sexually assaulted, a warning to abandon their mission. Despite this, she continues her work and learns that her attacker is a Japanese man known as Rio Baraki, later identified as Keisuke Ibaraki.
