Three standalone stories are featured. In the first, four bored individuals meet an elderly woman at a convenience store who offers them each 20,000 yen to work at her home. In the second, a student develops a crush on another during a school ceremony, only to learn the object of his affection is already in a relationship. The third follows a reporter who, upon seeing a mixed-race child sold by a writer years earlier, decides to take action to ensure her well-being, possibly taking her to a place described as a happy province.
