Mademoiselle Butterfly

A young woman lives as a geisha in Japan and has a close male friend from childhood who is a painter. He paints on human skin, and she especially enjoys when he draws butterflies on her arms. When she visits him, she discovers a naked woman in his room. Soon after, she receives a wealthy client who shows strong interest in her. The idea of moving away from her friend causes her distress, but it remains uncertain whether things have already reached a point of no return.
