Marine Corps Yumi

Nagumo Yumi is a high school student with no clear direction in life, except for her outlandish goal of becoming president of the United States. To her friends' surprise, she successfully travels to the U.S. during summer break. Inspired by a group of elderly veterans, she decides that enlisting in the Marine Corps is the best step toward her ambition. Along with Linda Crawford, a waitress, she visits a recruitment office and meets fellow recruits Rita Fernandez and Donna King. The group begins their training, uncertain if they can endure what it takes to become Marines.
