Mazinger Angel

A team of four female pilots operates large-scale robots in a series that parodies the 1970s and early 1980s show Charlie's Angels. Three of the mechas—Aphrodite A, Diana A, and Minerva X—originate from the Mazinger Z series, while Venus A is from Great Mazinger. The pilots include characters from different works by Go Nagai: Sayaka Yumi and Jun Hono from Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger, and Hikaru Makiba and Maria Fleed from Grendizer. The manga emphasizes the attractiveness of the characters and their machines, occasionally in a manner similar to the portrayal of female characters in Aika.
