Mikado no Shihou

During the Shou Dynasty, a time marked by severe famine, Kouran, a girl from a village struggling to pay taxes, enters the palace to steal. Inside, she meets a young man named Shiki. The following day, news spreads of an assassin who killed a prince and escaped. Kouran encounters Shiki again and begins to suspect he is the assassin, though his kind nature leaves her confused.
