Monster and Child

A vampire who survives by drinking blood resides in a house within a forest often covered in fog. He avoids conflict and longs for death. One day, a young boy who cannot speak appears at his door. Unsure of how to handle the situation, he allows the boy to stay, and they grow close. The vampire wonders if the boy's quiet, pure affection can bring meaning back to his lonely life.
