Mushi-Uta

In a near-future setting, mysterious insect-like beings called Mushi have existed for a decade, offering supernatural abilities in exchange for consuming people's dreams and thoughts. Daisuke Kusuriya, known as Kakkou, meets a girl named Shiika Anmoto, and they grow close. Unbeknownst to him, Shiika has escaped from GARDEN, a hidden facility imprisoning individuals possessed by Mushi, known as Mushitsuki. The Special Environmental Conservation Executive Office, GARDEN's military arm, sends an elite operative to capture Shiika. Their mission is complicated by the Mushibane resistance group, which opposes them under the leadership of a figure known as "Ladybird."
