A catastrophe known as the Mara devastated all in its path, including the Awakened. It marked humans with the stigmata corresponding to each constellation in the night sky, but one, Shin Hyuk Lee, was left without a sign. As the sole Awakened to deliver the final strike against the Mara, he was visited by Vega, the goddess of Lyra, who offered to grant his wish. Shin Hyuk requested to return to the past with the Lyra stigmata to prevent the disaster. However, upon returning, his body rejected the stigmata, resulting in his death—this time with the Mara present.
