NEET Onna to Shougaku Ninensei

Six brief stories of fantasy and connection by Shimizu Aki. In one, a 19-year-old NEET named Yasue meets a distressed second grader outside her home and attempts to help. Another follows a girl who hears words from an onion she is about to cook. A blind young woman, grieving her father’s death, makes elaborate demands from her window, which a gardener tries to meet. A surreal narrative resembling *Alice in Wonderland* appears next. Two girls with a shared interest in history cross paths, and one shares a secret that causes the other to relive a known scenario. The final tale continues the earlier NEET and second grader story, set a few years later.
