A high school student named Yuuji experiences a terrible day after being rejected by a male classmate he admired. Sitting on a park bench, he is approached by a cheerful elementary school boy named Atsushi, who attempts to comfort him and unexpectedly kisses him. Yuuji is furious that his first kiss was taken by a child and leaves in anger. The following day, Atsushi appears at Yuuji's school, concerned about him. Atsushi claims responsibility for the kiss and expresses a desire to protect Yuuji after seeing him so upset. Yuuji's terrible day may now become a day filled with a cherished memory.
