Returners: Aka no Kikansha

Thirteen years ago, a meteorite fell from the sky, marking the start of a series of strange events. Many people disappeared, a phenomenon later referred to as "spirited away." The skies darkened with clouds, a red mist covered the streets, and monsters began to appear. These creatures are known as slave beasts, having sold their souls to an evil king. Amidst the chaos, a group has returned from the depths of a red hell. They carry a gift meant to combat the growing disaster. Those who return are described as possessing the "flash," a power intended to confront the fear threatening their world.
