Ristorante Paradiso

A 21-year-old woman named Nicoletta goes to Rome to search for her mother, Olga, who left her years earlier. She finds Olga at a small restaurant called Casetta dell'Orso, where Olga is married to the owner. The staff, including a polite group of men, is welcoming to Nicoletta, but Olga is cold, as she has kept her past and her children a secret from her husband. In return for Nicoletta pretending to be the daughter of an old friend, Olga gives her a place to stay and a job at the restaurant. Nicoletta adapts well to the restaurant's unusual staff, especially bonding with the kind headwaiter, Claudio, a divorced man who still wears his wedding ring. As Nicoletta's emotions toward Claudio become more complex, she turns to Olga for support, slowly building a bond. However, the weight of their shared secret grows harder to manage.
