Comets falling from the sky devastated humanity, forcing survivors to take shelter underground. After four centuries, a being named Dracaena emerged, using a protective shield to drive the comets away and allowing people to resurface. Dracaena, known as Lord Dracaena, has safeguarded the city of Drenchest for this entire time. Having witnessed generations of humans come and go, he experiences deep loneliness and dreams of encountering another tenmaku.
