In a future where the Western calendar is obsolete, humans inhabit the underground "Labyrinth," a cramped and hot world filled with colonies and valuable mineral deposits. In the colony of Pin-in, a nine-year-old girl named Memenpuu and her father Gaganbaa work as miners, operating a two-person robot to extract ore. Memenpuu constantly asks her father to become a Marker, explorers who map the Labyrinth and search for her missing mother. Marking is a dangerous profession due to the risk of encountering a mysterious giant creature, with a survival rate under 5%. Despite the risks, maps are highly valuable. After much hesitation, Gaganbaa agrees, and the two set out together in their robot. Their journey reveals the cost of curiosity and uncovers a deeper truth. The story follows their exploration as a father and daughter seek answers, centered on their bond.
