Tatsuhiko visits his grandfather's long-unoccupied home after inheriting it. Inside a storage room, he meets a tanuki who identifies itself as a deity. The two work together to restore the house and talk about Tatsuhiko's grandfather. After these unusual interactions, they make the unexpected decision to marry.
