Shin Gunjou Senki

Michirou, a college student with aspirations of becoming a mountain rescuer, is confronted by his younger brother, Makoto, who is imprisoned for attempting to kill a friend. Makoto questions the distinction between a wartime hero and a murderer. Michirou believes the difference lies in the reason behind the act, while Makoto sees it as a matter of timing. After Makoto is sentenced, Michirou struggles to cope. Then, a sudden red rain falls, and a thick mist envelops the detention center, transforming the environment into the Warring States Period.
