Tamako Market

Tamako has extensive knowledge of mochi and helps run her family's shop while attending high school. She experiments with new mochi flavors in her free time. Adjusting to school and adolescence proves challenging, but she relies on her friends Kanna and Midori, who also have family businesses in the same area. Tamako's life becomes more complicated due to her feelings for Mochizou, a close friend whose family owns a competing mochi shop. Midori also experiences some uncertainty regarding her emotions toward Tamako. A mysterious bird that speaks fluent Japanese adds to the intrigue. Despite the challenges, Tamako finds comfort in the familiar presence of her shop, where something sweet and satisfying awaits after every experience.
