Akari Mochizuki is a ninth grader who develops a crush on Wataru-kun, a member of the school's soccer club. Despite his quiet and blunt nature, he is well-liked by many girls. After a soccer ball he kicks strikes her, Akari gains an unusual ability: she can understand the emotions of any boy who kisses her.
