The Kabocha Wine

Aoba Shunsuke, a transfer student, arrives at Sunshine School to find it completely empty. Unaware it is a holiday, he is pleased to have arrived first. He soon meets Natsumi, a tall, attractive girl nicknamed Eru, and they quickly become close despite their height difference. The story focuses on their relationship, portraying both the happiness and challenges of their dynamic. The work received the 1983 Kodansha Manga Award in the shounen category.
