Tono to Inu

A man named Tono, who was once a timid deity on the battlefield during Japan's Warring States period, now lives in a tenement house after falling into poverty. Despite his difficult circumstances, he takes in a dog. The dog disregards Tono's authority, acting however it pleases and treating him with little regard.
