Humanity has expanded into space, and by Space Era 0156, conflicts arise among the colonies. A new battleship, Tiramisu, is secretly built by the Earth colony, entrusted to an ace pilot as a symbol of hope. The story is a sci-fi comedy centered on Ichinose Subaru, the pilot of the Tiramisu, who struggles to adapt to his older teammates. He often isolates himself in the cockpit of his own ship, the Durandal.
